It might be a good idea if you notify users when they have a new private message. I didn't realise there was a facility for private messages on your page and just now I saw that I have a message from a while ago that I hadn't seen or read. Just a thought...

Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, if you go into your profile, under settings, you can set your account to receive notification of private messages. Hope that helps.
